I am a transfer student. Do I need to complete Safe@UA?
No, only incoming freshmen are expected to complete the course. You may, however, choose to watch the video portion only since it contains valuable information that will help you here at the University.
What will happen if I do not complete Safe@UA?
We will send you a reminder in August. It is very important that you take a proactive stance when it comes to your personal safety. Completing Safe@UA is the first step in doing that.
What are the computer requirements for viewing the Safe@UA video?
You will need a computer with Internet access, QuickTime Player and audio capabilities. You may download a free copy of QuickTime Player on your computer by visiting: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/.

Should you experience any difficulties or require support, the Networking and Computing Support office is available to assist you. You may contact them by calling the Helpdesk at 348-HELP.
What does it take to pass the Safe@UA course?
This is a pass/fail course. The questions are not meant to be difficult. They are meant to make you think about your safety on a daily basis.
